Blending indie rock with acoustic nuances and experimental forays, Grizzly Bear’s third release on Warp has a definite psychedelic flavour which, with the vocal duties spread around the group, retains a dynamic that never becomes predictable. Sporting production arrangements that sound simultaneously stripped and complex, this is the Bear’s best album to date.
