On stage at 9:35 for 90 minutes of thunderous, ribcage-quaking, bass-heavy dance-rock, the septet led by Maxim, Keith Flint and Liam Howlett hit the masses from the off with in-yer-face classics old and new. The Fat Of The Land kicked things off as huge rhythm pulses duelled with wiry guitar, as on Their Law, and Maxim led the gyrating throng, while Keith prowled in menacing fashion. Breathe saw things go ballistic, while fresh cuts like Writing On The Wall and Spitfire sat seamlessly among an extended Firestarter and Comanche, which closed the main 10-track set. Another handful followed, including a throbbing Smack My Bitch Up, with all hands aloft and voices raised.
