The Jim Jones Revue
London Camden Koko

If Jerry Lee Lewis got drunk and had carnal knowledge of Grinderman, the offspring would be The Jim Jones Revue. Quiffs, waistcoats, and riffs so meaty, they give you a bloody good hiding. Ninety minutes of Cement Mixer, Dishonest John, Elemental and the like made this a candidate for gig of the year. Stunning. They left the stage with an invite for an autumn date at Shepherd’s Bush Empire. This is one smiling bloke with it already inked into the back of his eyelids.
