Trini Lopez enjoyed a worldwide hit with If I Had A Hammer in 1963, setting him off on a string of album and single successes. His debut LP, Live At PJ’s, set the tone for his happy singalong delivery, largely sticking to known songs the likes of La Bamba, A-Me-Ri-Ca, Lemon Tree and Greenback Dollar.
