Playing the Wychwood Festival, Supergrass closed the main stage with a career-spanning, hits-strewn set. Playing as a five-piece, Charlie Coombs freed up brother Gaz and added extra guitar oomph, the band imbued with a sense of purpose. Sun Hits The Sky was a requisite and summed up the good times vibe of Wychwood perfectly. A couple of new numbers were thrown in and blended seamlessly with a plethora of favourites. Kids and parents danced wildly to the likes of Pumping On Your Stereo and Caught By The Fuzz, while the splendid backdrop of Gloucestershire countryside faded into the night.
