This second set of previously unreleased tracks from BBC sessions, limited to 500-only, covers a range of rarities, including a live rendition of Beatles-esque group Mirage’s 1967 single, The Wedding Of Romana Blair, while Alan Bown, in his then-psychedelic incarnation, plays two tracks which were never commercially recorded: Movie Star Baby and The Association’s Pandora’s Golden Heebie Jeebies. Other rarities include pre-Man outfit The Bystanders and version of I Am The Walrus, a much-rumoured recording that finally sees the light of day. Twelve of the 16 tracks are taken direct from BBC transcription discs and the other four from off-air recordings. A treasure trove of goodies, only available from www.topsoundsrecords.co.uk.
