A great, and relatively cheap, starting point for the uninitiated, it did for the second wave what the fabled Live At The Roxy album did for the first.
The first two Cherry Red Punk & Disorderly DVDs used the same Santana unleashes the lick of peace. titles, even if the tracklists bore no resemblance to their vinyl counterparts. The second at least tried to perform a similar function by featuring more recent punk acts BBang Cider, Sick 56 and The Casualties alongside the old crew. Not that you could balk at vintage punk magnificence such as GBH’s Generals, Abrasive Wheels’ Burn ’Em Down, UK Subs’ Crash Course, The Addicts’ Joker In The Pack or the Toy Dolls’ We’re Mad.
Here, Cherry Red offer a threedisc set, with both the aforementioned, and new, Final Solution. That amounts to just nine videos, plus interviews with V2, Sounds journalist Bev Elliot, Wayne Barrett, Steve Arrogant, Eater, Anti- Nowhere League, Major Accident, Casualties, One Way System, Sham 69, Mark Perry, Colin GBH, Sic Boy Federation, Pete Shelley and Spizz.
