The Cult - Love

The Cult reached a pinnacle with this release and, arguably, never hit the same heights again. The inclusion of She Sells Sanctuary, with Ian Astbury’s haunting lyrics and its stand-out guitar riff played by guitarist Billy Duffy, lifted the song to rock standard status; that said, many Cult fans name check the title track as the album’s highlight.
