Kyuss Lives!

With virtually all their UK dates sold-out in advance, Kyuss Lives! found themselves inheriting a level of expectation that the original band could have only dreamt of 16 years on from calling it a day. Original members John Garcia, Brant Bjork and Nick Oliveri, and new recruit Bruno Fevery, who replicates Josh Homme’s trademark Kyuss guitar fuzz and reverb, bring the old magic to life. Rolling off with the monumental Gardenia, they played virtually all of Welcome To Sky Valley, with periodic detours. It was mightily impressive and the crowd’s response delirious. After 70 minutes, the band took their leave, only to return, twice, the Kyuss Lives! steamroller cranking the decibels to the max.
