Opening their tour in support of Paul Rodgers with a warm-up date in West Yorkshire, Def Leppard singer Joe and his band, including members of The Quireboys, ran through a set compiled from their My ReGeneration homage to Mott The Hoople and Ian Hunter. Thrown in the mix for good measure were a couple of cuts already in the can for their next album. Encoring with Mott classics, the catchy Roll Away The Stone, joanna rocker All The Way From Memphis, and what Joe referred to as “what should be the National Anthem”, the anthemic All The Young Dudes, it was a good-time rock’n’roll show well worth fans turning up early for.
