Influenced by The Beatles and serving as a building block in Steve Winwood’s career, Traffic’s 1967 debut was known as Mr Fantasy in the UK but, initially in America, it was titled Heaven Is In Your Mind. This rarer overseas pressing included a different tracklisting and sleeve art that, notably excluded Dave Mason, who had left the band before it was released. The American pressing added the UK singles Paper Sun, Hole I0n My Shoe and Smiling Phases, along with a snatch of the UK single Here We Go ’Round The Mulberry Bush and the short closing track, We’re A Fade, You Missed This. This reissue of the pop-laden, jazz infused, diverse, organcentric album presents the very rare mono mix – a must-hear for vinyl fans.
