Amy Lee and her cohorts hit the stage running with the thumpingly apt What You Want, the gothically-clad symphonic metal quintet getting the 30s crowd in full voice from the get-go of their 80-minute set. The communal buzz increased with the chugging singalong of Going Under, before a new song from Album 3, The Other Side, which saw Amy on keys and was accompanied by some stunning lighting. Another mid-tempo newey, The Change, was followed by the repose of Made Of Stone, and a grand piano was rolled out for the breathy, majestic Lost In Paradise. A spot of solo melancholia on Lithium and Good Enough was preface to the staccato Sick and catchy new cut, Oceans, while Imaginery showcased Lee’s impressive, soaring vocals and the techno-edged keys of Bring Me To Life led to an encore including Never Go Back and My Immortal.
