While Billy Satellite never made a name for themselves outside their native America, the outfit, led by singer Monty Myrom and guitarist Danny Chauncey (subsequently of Southern rockers .38 Special), knocked out 10 radio-friendly tunes in the era of AOR rule. Kicking off with the Foreign-eresque Satisfy Me, the melodic rock vein is mined thereafter on the likes of Last Call (fans of Survivor take note), the pop-rock Do Ya (with over-the-top vocal finale) and the harmony-rich Trouble. Slip in some Southern rock and harmonica action on Rockin’ Down The Highway, the smoochy Bye Bye Baby and some syndrum syncopation (Standin’ With The Kings), and most of the period bases are covered.
