After 10 years, Belinda is back, and her long-standing fans found her no less charming, sexy or convincing. She remains a pop goddess and, with tunes like opener Runaway Horses, she had us in the palm of her hand. She followed with a fine 17-song mix of vintage and new material from her French-language album, Voila. While those sitting at the supperclub tables warmed more slowly, by the dessert end of the nearly two-hour show they were crowding down the front of the stage, their champagne glasses clinking toasts to rockier fare such as Heaven On Earth and other standards. Belinda interacted well with the dining-room set and, while her repertoire has changed from her early 90s one, it more than satisfied. Her new Francophone direction was warmly applauded with a bravura and bravo-ed triple encore.
