It was a tough call for Annihilator to be sandwiched between openers Sanctity and Gojira and headliners Trivium. But they did the business, the Canadian thrash metal outfit finishing with the opening Operation Annihilation from their latest album, which saw all hell broke loose. They also flew through the likes of Never Neverland, Fun Palace, Alison Hell and King Of The Kill, Jeff Waters and Dave Paddon working excellently together, exchanging riffs and vocals. Their 40-minute performance was terrific, Annihilator proving they are still relevant.
