LATER THAN YOU THINK

You know you’re getting old when… you don’t know who half the people on Later With Jools Holland are. Time was when I’d come back from the pub and collapse in front of old Jools to enjoy acts I already knew or had read about in NME. I was so cool I’d even take an interest in ones I’d never heard of, even the inevitable ‘world music’ ones. Now? I’ve never heard of most of the acts and, even worse, I don’t care. Is it just me?
