HEAD MAN
Anyone wishing to hear my copy of the Medicine Head single His Guiding Hand/This Love Of Old can find it on my site, www.peterhope-evans.co.uk. Just click on the song titles. I’ve only just been told about this absence of the record/the absence of this record/the record of this absence/this record of the absence. The only contribution I was asked to make to this (Dandelion) box set was via the ‘music historian’ who wrote the booklet. I do not supply stories/reminiscences/anecdotes.
Anyone who read the label of that single would see it was recorded in a Birmingham studio. If one is to believe what one reads. I write there were two copies only of the tapes made that day of a number of songs. John Peel had one copy. I never had a copy.
