ERIC STAYS AN OUTLAW
I attended the “Eric Clapton – 24 nights” series at the Royal Albert Hall in London 1991, probably the greatest concert I have seen in my 40 years of going to gigs. It was due, in no small part, to the superb orchestral suite Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra that Eric performed with Michael Kamen and the RPO in the second half of the show. I have a radio recording of it, and a bootleg CD set (both of substandard quality). But why has it never been made legally available, indeed why it was not included on the original vinyl/cd/dvd issues in the 90s? It must have been recorded, surely? I hope you can throw some light on this, as I’m sure myself and other Clapton fans would love to be able to get a legal version of it in digital quality!
Any answers, please, readers?
