BUYERS BEWARE
I’d just like to share with you a frankly shocking place in Covent Garden plaza which is demanding astronomical prices for records. Three examples being a bogstandard copy of Setting Sons by The Jam on vinyl for, wait for it, a “bargain” £40; the silver CD box set for Definitely Maybe at only £150; and finally Bowie’s Fashions picture discs for £50 – a bit over the top for the set as a whole, but this was the price for each individual 7” single! Surely there’s something that can be done about these guys, they’re blatantly trying to rip off tourists with extortionate prices.
