BLOW JIBE
In your Pete Frame interview of Jimmy Page (RC 349) mention is made of misconceptions based on film clips. Earlier in the interview, one of these misconceptions raises its ugly head in Pete’s recalling the Blow Up appearance of the Yardbirds with Jimmy playing bass. Jimmy is shown five times during the song; in four of these he’s playing a Fender Telecaster! I’ve read that Jimmy was playing bass in the film somewhere before in another magazine. Please stop propagating myths! Love your other work Pete!
