A CAPITAL IDEA
I can go one further than Mike Brooks (RC 389) on acquiring the Capital Radio EP. My mate bought The Clash with the sticker and sent the coupon off to Sounds, for the EP. I bought the album a day or two later from the same place – but no sticker! I was disappointed, but I had an idea. I wrote to Sounds and said I’d bought the album but it jumped, and exchanged it at the record shop, but the new copy did not have a sticker. A week or two later, the EP landed on the doormat. Don’t ask, don’t get! And I still have my copy.
